Zuna Ramos Maza is a paralegal with the Asylum Program at PAIR. Zuna has expanded her understanding of the forced displacement field through professional experiences in the U.S., along the U.S.-Mexico Border, as well as abroad in Spain and Chile. Her roles in these ranged from assisting with the provision of pro-bono legal aid to acting as a research assistant on studies pertaining to migrant mental health. Zuna obtained her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Boston University. She is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico with both Puerto Rican and Cuban heritage. She is a native Spanish speaker. Zuna joined PAIR in 2023.
