Violeta Haralampieva, Esq. is a staff attorney at PAIR, specializing in asylum law. Violeta graduated from Boston University School of Law and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She taught academic writing to English as a Second Language students before law school. As a law student, Violeta took BU Law's International Human Rights Clinic and interned at the Rian Immigrant Center, McHaffey & Nice Law, and PAIR. Violeta used her BU Law Public Service Post-Graduate Fellowship for her work in refugee law with the Center for Legal Aid in her native Bulgaria and the Refugee Solidarity Network in New York. Violeta is fluent in Bulgarian, Czech and Spanish. She joined PAIR in 2017.
