Juan Bedoya

Juan Bedoya is a Staff Attorney and Skadden Fellow at PAIR. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he was an Arthur Garfield Hays Civil Liberties Fellow and the Senior Notes Editor of the New York University Law Review. During law school, Juan participated in the Federal Defender Clinic, where he represented individuals charged with petty offenses in federal court, as well as in the Immigrant Rights Clinic, where he represented members of the immigrant community in immigration and federal court. Juan gained further experience through internships at the American Civil Liberties Union Immigrants’ Rights Project, Brooklyn Defender Services New York Immigrant Family Unity Project (NYIFUP) Unit, and the Center for Constitutional Rights. Prior to law school, Juan volunteered with the Immigration Unit of the Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island. He also taught English in Japan for a year through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. Juan is fluent in Spanish. He joined PAIR in 2020.
