Annery Miranda, Esq. is a staff attorney with the Justice for Immigrant Families (JFF) Program at PAIR, specializing in representation for immigrant children and families in Massachusetts. She holds a J.D. from Northeastern School of Law where she obtained certificates in International Law & Human Rights and Poverty Law & Economic Justice. During law school, Annery participated as a student attorney in the Immigrant Justice Clinic, supporting individuals who were paroled into the U.S. in their pursuit of asylum. She also served as a student attorney at various non-profits and firms focusing on immigration, housing, language access and family defense. In the years preceding law school, she worked as a Paralegal at Greater Boston Legal Services, advocating for low wage workers in unemployment proceedings and as an advocate in the School to Prison Pipeline Project. Prior to that, she obtained her M.S.W at Boston College with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health where she focused her coursework and practicums on understanding trauma, it’s manifestations and treatment. She is a native Spanish speaker. Annery joined PAIR in 2022.
