Join our Associates Honor Roll
While so many associates have made a lasting difference in their clients’ lives through their excellent representation, we are urging associates to make a monetary donation equivalent to either one billable hour or $250. This will help PAIR continue to screen clients, mentor attorneys and run a high-quality program so that future pro bono attorneys and clients will have this same meaningful opportunity. Please donate online or send a check, payable to PAIR Project, to 254 Friend Street, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02114 (Attn: Sarah Ignatius), and join our Associates Honor Roll. Volunteer
PAIR relies on volunteers with diverse skills, including attorneys to represent our clients and to advise immigration detainees, as well as assistance from outside the legal field. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Sarah Ignatius. We are looking for:

  • Attorneys interested in representing asylum-seekers pro bono.
  • AILA members interested in participating in our program with the Immigration Court.
  • Law students interested in unpaid legal internships. (Please note: Summer 2013 slots are already filled. Thank you for your interest.)
  • Interpreters, especially for Spanish, French, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Mandarin, Swahili, and numerous other languages.
  • Human rights experts, doctors, and psychiatrists for critical help in serving our clients’ legal needs.
  • Database programmers with experience in FileMaker 9; web designers; and public relations and marketing consultants.

Become a Partner Law Firm
Over the years, we have received millions in pro bono contributions that have been crucial to PAIR’s success. We ask firms to commit an annual financial contribution in order for PAIR to maintain our high quality mentoring and training to pro bono attorneys. Firm support pays for our program costs and ensures PAIR's continued success in representing indigent asylum-seekers and immigrants unjustly detained. Contact Sarah Ignatius for more information.
