AILA/ PAIR Program with the Immigration Court

This successful collaboration between PAIR and the Immigration Court and the New England Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), launched in 2007, advises low-income immigration detainees of their rights in Immigration Court. The program recruits, trains, and mentors AILA pro bono attorneys to represent detained clients seeking release on bond and relief from removal. Through this program, over 75 AILA attorneys are now trained to give Know Your Rights presentations at Immigration detention centers and to represent low-income detainees for release from detention on bond. This program has received the support and recognition of the Boston Immigration Court Judges and Court Administrator. If interested in participating, contact Antonio Castro Aranda.
